Child Hood Birthday Party

Are you a teen? In college? Still have a bit of childhood left in you? Do you remember the days in highs school when you would play silly games and still have the time of your life? Let’s bring the days back. For your upcoming birthday, start with a scrapbook. Now in case you don’t want to spend a lot (since we’re all broke now) a good idea is that instead of having birthday presents, each person could contribute to the cost of the party. If you invite 10 people, and each person brings $20, that’s $200. Ok so the great part is that you have a pre-birthday planning day with your guests. Usually, the birthday person is the host, but with this you are pretending for a moment that you are a child depending on opinions and ideas of others with your own insight. So at this pre-birthday meeting every one will bring their “amount” towards the upcoming party. In addition, you can all carpool to a nearby store and look around for stuff to purchase (make sure you follow your budget).

What You’ll Need:
1. A scrap book
* You really don’t want to forget this special one-of-a-kind birthday
* You will be getting older soon, appreciate how you look right now
* Child hood is priceless
* A scrap book means 1000 times more when the people you love participate to make a masterpiece
* Check out www.scrapbook.com

2. Balloons
* You will insert small pieces of paper with numbers on them into the balloons, then blow up the balloons, throw them around or tape them up. Later, each guest gets to pop a balloon in search for the lucky number you have chosen. We all cheer for them… yay! Ok so they get a little present.

3.Back to Back Balloon Pop
*Pick teams of two.Have the pairs stand in a line or circle back to back, with a balloon held between their backs. On the leader's signal, the players press together, trying to burst their balloon. The first team to pop its balloon wins. (http://www.amazingmoms.com/htm/party.games2.htm#back_to_back_balloon)

4. Dollar store mini toys (such as whistles, etc). They probably have birthday packages.
* Or you could be more sophisticated and buy scented candles to pass out as party favors for every guest, or guests that win games.

5. Face Coloring!!
* How fun would it be if each of you did each other’s face painting? You could choose a theme such as wild animals, or flowers, butterflies…whatever.

6. This post is going on…
* There is so much to do on this site: http://www.amazingmoms.com/htm/partygames.htm or lookup birthday games on google.

Anyhow, I will try to do this for my upcoming birthday and post up some pictures. My birthday isn’t until September…

Feel free to post up your pictures here, I don’t know how you could do that so if you want, I could post them if you wish. Ask, and I’ll give you my email J

If you have better suggestions regarding pasting pictures on my blog, please comment. And also let me know if you have better birthday ideas.
